In honor of Yom HaShoah, the Jewish day of rememberance for the Holocaust, we will hold this public event in memory of genocide victims around the world.
Beginning at 10:30am in Westlake Park, we will read the names of genocide victims through a megaphone so that all entering the square will be reminded to remember their loss. If you would like to read with us, please let us know in the "Comments" section of your RSVP.
We will also provide Yarzheit candles and prayer cards so that you can publicly share your mourning for those who are no longer with us. Community members and those who are not Jewish are welcome to participate.
Thank you to our partners:
Washington State Holocaust Education Resource Center
Armenian Cultural Association of Washington
Anti-Defamation League: Pacific Northwest
