...A Food Truck not to Pass Over!
We are teaming up with the delectable Seattle food truck, Napkin Friends, during the week of Passover. They will be bringing a kosher-for-Passover lunch menu to numerous locations. (See below.)
This novel approach combining Jewish tradition with the modern lunch truck trend is an exciting way to bring Passover to you, while working, while at school, or just out and about during the holiday week.
Menu options will include latke pressed “sandwiches,” such as The Charoset with the Mostest (charoset, roasted root vegetables, caramelized onion, sherry vinegar, thyme, and spinach) and The Dy-Dayanu (braised brisket, spiced tomato jam, romaine, sweet onion, and chimichurri). As the Napkin Friends website says about their latke sandwiches: “Let’s just say, the first bite produces an OMG moment.” Matzo ball soup and kugel, among other menu options, will also be available.
Please note, that while the entire menu will be designated kosher-for-Passover, food truck supervision is not provided by Va’ad HaRabanim of Greater Seattle.
We are excited to bring Passover to you, but we couldn't have done it without the generosity of the Special Initiatives Fund of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle and Napkin Friends!
