Jews in Shoes

Sunday, August 04

9:30am to 6:00pm
Mount Pilchuck
Jews in shoes is hiking out and about again! We'll do a scenic intermediate hike a short drive away. Mount Pilchuck is a short but steep hike that leads to a peak with fire lookout, beautiful for a clear day! If the weather is not clear, we'll do a backup hike, probably Mason Lake (similar difficulty). Trail stats: 5.4 mi roundtrip, 2300 ft elevation gain. The drive is about an hour and a half. More info here: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/mount-pilchuck

Please bring with you 16-32 oz of water, a lunch and snacks. We'll be out all day! Wear layers and bring sunscreen and a hat, the last half of the trail doesn't have much shade; hiking boots are recommended , but sneakers are fine if you don't have boots. And of course, dogs are welcome (on a leash)!

We'll meet at  theHillel parking lot at 9:30am and carpool from there. We'll return around 6pm, but that time is not guaranteed, so don't make any early evening plans to avoid rushing.

MUST RSVP BELOW!
