Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 PM
November 1st through December 13th (with an exception for November 22nd)
Deepen your understanding of Jewish ritual and create a unique collection of your own Jewish ritual objects with Ritual Lab, a cohort experience exploring Jewish ritual through art.
The Jewish ritual objects we’ll learn about and make include a hamsa, Shabbat candlesticks, a mezuzah cover, a kiddush cup, and a challah cover. You’ll get to experiment with techniques like wire beading, mosaic, and glass etching. While we create our ritual objects, we’ll also explore how we can bring that ritual into our lives and connect with one another.
No prior knowledge about Jewish ritual objects or holidays is necessary – we’ll learn together!
Register here. The cost for participation in this class is $100, which covers all supplies. You can complete the payment for your registration here. If financial capacity is a barrier to participation for you, please reach out to ashley@hilleluw.org.
