*”Let all who are hungry come and eat.” We want Seders to be accessible to all of our students and young adults. Please consider volunteering to earn a free Seder or Passover lunch. We also offer financial assistance if needed.

First Night Options:
Jconnect and Undergrad Seder, Led by Amee Sherer
Why is this night different from all other nights? Join us around the table as we celebrate the traditional prayers and melodies of the Passover Seder – with some fun additions! Come discover new meaning to numbers, symbols, and more. Together, we will explore the central themes of the Passover story so be prepared to participate and ask some great questions and share your memories. We will sing, discuss, and of course, eat! This Seder is open to students and young adults.

Community Seder, Led by Rabbi Dov Gartenberg
Rabbi Dov will provide a Seder that is participatory, musical, and creatively fresh. Ari Joshua will accompany Rabbi Dov and will enhance favorite Passover melodies with his guitar. Together they will introduce some fabulous lesser known melodies from other Jewish communities. Their approach will build upon the central purpose of the Seder evening to tell the story of the Exodus from Egypt and share the message of freedom. This Seder will be sprinkled with teachings and discussions to stimulate participants regardless of age or background and is open to community members, students, and young adults.
