UnXeptable is a grassroots movement launched by Israel expats in support of a democratic Israel. They are calling on world Jewry to come together and preserve the democratic identity of Israel as the home of all Jewish people. In July, the Knesset amended a Basic Law that canceled the Supreme Courts ability to invalidate unreasonable government actions. In other words, if this amendment is endorsed by the courts, Israel will no longer be a democratic state.
Members of the Israeli protest movement will fly to Seattle especially for this event and the Greater Seattle Jewish community is invited to join this protest.
