JDC Entwine Alumni Learning with Rabbi Samuel Klein

Wednesday, January 24

7:00pm to 8:30pm
RSVP for address

All alumni of JDC Entwine trips are invited to join Rabbi Samuel Klein (Federation) for an evening of learning.

Mix and mingle with alums from all previous Entwine trips, catch up with the people you traveled with, and do a little Jewish learning. Rabbi Samuel will be teaching a session called The Circle Maker and the Carob Tree: On Dreaming, Identity and Friendship.

What does it mean to dream of a life lived? And as we move through life, how do we nurture and nourish the many selves we contain? And what does friendship have to do with this? Join Rabbi Samuel Klein for an exploration through the understory of a midrashic tale about the Talmud's own Rip Van Winkle and his awakening.

This event will be hosted in a private home, so please RSVP for the address. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
