Join other Jewish young adults in Seattle for an amazing opportunity to meet Rabbi Benay Lappe for our first Queer Jews and Brews! We will dive into Jewish learning together over our favorite beers then head out on the town together after the event! All Beer and snacks will be provided. However, if you have a favorite brew you want to bring, please do!
Rabbi Lappe is an award-winning educator specializing in the application of queer theory to Talmud study. Rabbi Lappe is the Founder and Rosh Yeshiva of SVARA a queer Yeshiva in Chicago. SVARA offers accessible, complex, and highly accountable traditional Jewish education from a Queer perspective.
