JIY: Jewish Queer Women Well Circle Shabbat

This Jew-It-Yourself event is a Shabbat kickoff for a monthly Well Circle for Jewish queer women. A Well circle is a group that commits to meeting monthly around Rosh Chodesh (the beginning of each month on the Hebrew calendar) to support each other, create space to discuss our specific experiences, and bring in Jewish ritual and discussion. This Well Circle is open to anyone who would find meaning from a space focused on women, womanhood, and femininity. Ever felt like queer spaces were not Jewish enough, or like Jewish spaces were not queer enough? This is a space to bring your whole self and connect with people who can understand you in a unique way. This Well Circle will meet monthly to listen, support each other, and connect. Whether this is your first Jewish event or you attend one every week, we’re excited to have you!
