Join other Jewish young professionals to listen to Howard Behar speak at the University of Washington.
When Howard Behar started at Starbucks, they had fewer than 30 stores. By the time he left, they had 15,000 stores across five continents. As the first President of Starbucks International -- from 1995 until 2007 -- Behar steered the company's expansions into Asia and the United Kingdom. He also served on the Starbucks Board of Directors for 12 years.
He is now an author and motivational speaker and continues to serve on for-profit and non-profit boards, including the boards of Wild Ginger Restaurants, the University of Washington Foundation, and the Washington Business Alliance.
