Join Professor Hadar Khazzam-Horovitz, JLSA, and Jconnect Seattle for a lunch break that will explore Jewish perspectives on bioethics.
Over lox and bagels, we will explore Jewish-religious perspectives on contemporary biomedical issues. Hadar will focus on some of the key differences between secular and Jewish approaches in interpretation and application of medical ethics. The topics to be discussed include: doctor-patient relationship; euthanasia; and stem cell research. The goal is to promote important discussion of alternative perspectives to ethical evaluations and practices.
