Monday, April 2612:00pm to 1:00pm
Meqorot means foundations, and this is your chance to shore up your foundations in Jewish knowledge so that you can experience Jewish learning, life, holidays, prayer, music, and spirituality more fully. This casual, discussion-based group is appropriate for people with a Jewish education in their background and those who are new.
This group will meet every other Monday, 12:00-1:00 PM, starting on April 12th. Bring your own lunch!
We ask that you make a commitment to come regularly for at least the first couple of months in order to form a real community of learning during otherwise isolating times.
During sessions, we will read and discuss together selections from Judaism's 10 Best Ideas: A Brief Guide for Seekers by Rabbi Dr. Arthur Green, one of the world's leading scholars of Jewish spirituality and a popular writer of numerous books. No advanced reading or homework required -- just show up with your copy of the book.
Order your copy of Judaism's 10 Best Ideas: A Brief Guide for Seekers by Rabbi Dr. Arthur Green and email your receipt to Rabbi Josh with your Venmo handle for reimbursement.
A Zoom link will be sent to you via email.
