We hope you will join us to commemorate Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, where Holocaust survivor Henry Friedman will share his story of survival. For 18 months, Henry hid in a loft of a barn with his mother, brother, and teacher. All around them, Jewish people were being arrested and killed by the Nazis and their collaborators. By the end of the war, 90% of Poland's Jewish population had been killed. Henry and his family survived.
Henry's presentation will be followed by a candle lighting in memory of the 6 million Jewish people murdered during the Holocaust and the millions of non-Jewish victims, as well as a musical performance by Chava Mirel.
This event is free to attend, and registration is required.
