10:00am to 2:00pmJoin Jconnect and FareStart in helping prepare 1200 meals for those fighting homelessness this winter!
FareStart is a local nonprofit founded by chefs in 1987 on three beliefs: that food is central to our emotional, physical, and economic well-being, that people have incredible capacity to transform their lives when they have the right tools and support, and solutions that provide real value to a community have the best hope of lasting. They put these beliefs into action in two ways. They prepare meals for homeless shelters throughout King County, and they provide culinary job training to youth and adults struggling with homelessness, giving them the culinary and vocational skills to succeed in the fast paced food industry.
Join us in cooking alongside the chefs in FareStart's program for homeless shelters around the county.
We hope you can join us!
